VP Advantage Services LLC is Hiring a MAINTENANCE TECH Near MIDDLETOWN, DE
- Maintaining the mechanical systems throughout the buildings, making sure all equipment is operational and in good working condition, including making necessary repairs when needed, or ensuring that outside contractors make the repairs.
- Completes work orders in a timely manner.
- Performing scheduled preventive maintenance on equipment in the buildings.
- Keeping accurate records of preventive maintenance and of all mechanical systems and equipment.
- Responding in a timely and courteous manner when staff members, residents or residents’ families have a maintenance request or concern.
- Preparing apartments for new admissions.
- Helping residents move into or out of their residence.
- Assuring compliance with fire and safety and applicable assisted living regulations.
- Maintaining all floors throughout the buildings, as well as general upkeep of the buildings.
- Assisting housekeeping with cleaning or extraction or trash pick-up as needed.
- Maintaining the emergency call system.
- Being on call for building emergencies.
- Driving the company vehicles as needed.
- Performing additional duties as assigned by the Facilities Director.
